Becky Westlund

Becky Westlund attended Howard Payne University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. She then attended The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Master of Music and a Doctorate of Music (ABD) in Vocal Performance. Ms. Westlund has performed lead rolls in several productions including Le Nozzi di Figaro, Cosi fan Tutti, Kiss Me Kate, and The Telephone. She has also sung in many church productions and benefit concerts. She was an Adjunct Professor in the Vocal department at Howard Payne University and Schreiner University where she taught Private Voice , Sight Reading and Ear Training, Vocal Diction, and directed the opera. She has been teaching voice lessons at Ronald Reagan High School since 2005. She has enjoyed the many successes of her students including numerous All-State choir members, leading and supporting roles in musicals and plays, and countless top ratings for UIL solos.

Richard Trammell

Richard Trammell

Tenor, Mr. Richard Trammell is in his 6th year of teaching at Reagan High School. He received his Bachelors of Music - Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Opera Studies from Texas State University. Mr. Trammell was awarded first place in the National Association of Teachers of Singers Texhoma Competition three consecutive years and continues to bring his own students to compete at NATS and other various vocal competitions throughout the US. Mr. Trammell was a featured member of the Austin Lyric Opera and has served as a guest soloist for many companies such as the Mid - Texas Symphony. Mr. Trammell has routinely led students throughout the All-State process and has had All-State Choir Members every year consistently since 2014. In addition to leading a thriving and active, full studio, Mr. Trammell continues to perform regionally and clinic throughout the Hill Country, as well as serve on the voice faculty of the Texas State Choral Camps. Mr. Trammell has served as the music director at First Christian Church in San Marcos, TX since 2017. Richard and his wife, Sara Trammell reside in San Antonio, TX with their two dogs, Tucker and Ella.

Jennifer

Holloway

Jennifer Holloway received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University before working professionally as a singer and actress in Chicago and Dallas for several years. She continues to perform for a variety of events around San Antonio. As an instructor, Ms. Holloway has taught theater at the Dallas Children’s Theater and St Mary’s Hall, directed school choirs at St Mary’s Hall, Harris Academy, and the Young Women’s Leadership Academy, and has maintained a private voice studio for many years. Many of her students have gone on to sing in the All State Choir and have attended prestigious universities around the country to continue their vocal studies. Ms. Holloway is also the Assistant Director of Music at Christ Episcopal Church in San Antonio and Director of their Children’s Music Program. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Choir Directors Association, and The Choristers Guild. She also serves on the board of the Opera Guild of San Antonio as Vice President of Membership.
